WildDay for Charity

The WildHearts Foundation is an entrepreneurial charity dedicated to investing in the human spirit and helping those in need around the world.

WildHearts was founded by WildDay.com director Mick Jackson, whose life was transformed by tragedy during a climbing expedition on one of the world's most dangerous mountains.  In 2001 Mick made headline news when he turned back from his attempt to climb K2 to save the life of a dying Sherpa. He swore that if he made it home alive he would do everything in his power to make a difference.

The WildHearts Foundation is the fulfilment of that promise.  Currently WildHearts is pioneering a new concept in the developing world called microfinance, giving people a hand up, not a hand out.  News of this exciting new venture will be announced soon.

The WildHearts Foundation is committed to launching companies that benefit humanity.  The first such company, WildHearts In Action, is the only office supplies company that donates ALL its profits to charity.  WildHearts In Action gives businesses the opportunity to give to charity without actually have to "donate" a penny, enabling people to make a difference whilst they make a living.

With over 500 customers from amongst the UKs largest companies, WildHearts In Action is one of the country's most exciting and fastest growing social enterprises.  To find our more visit www.wildheartsinaction.org

WildDay.com

The most recent company to be launched by the WildHearts Foundation is WildDay Out.  WildDay Out creates and manages inspirational sporting events aimed at building stronger communities and fostering healthy, active lifestyles.

WildDay Out events reach a global audience instantly on a dynamic new web platform, www.WildDayOut.com , which is packed full of event news plus training and fitness advice. It also enables participants to create their own individual fundraising web pages about their event , which can be sent to all their friends and family, wherever they may be located.

The revenues raised by these events through sponsorship of individuals and corporate teams are invested by the WildHearts Foundation in projects around the world.  In addition, the website also features news, diaries and photos from the "WildHearts Adventurers", individuals undertaking epic challenges around the globe on behalf of those less fortunate than themselves.

Current Adventurers include Tristan Bamford, who has pledged to become the youngest Scot to climb Everest, and Dan Martin, who has recently embarked on a solo expedition to cycle from South Korea to Cape Town through some of the most dangerous territory on earth, including the so-called "Axis of Evil".

The WildHearts Adventurers aim to inspire other people to push themselves to their limits to help those in need; epitomising the ethos of the WildHearts Foundation.

You can read all about our adventurers and be inspired by visiting our website www.WildDayOut.com.

Have a Wild Day!
