Vango has spent the last 4 decades testing and developing innovative tent designs and fabrics to meet the demands of mountaineers, climbers, trekkers and camping enthusiasts alike. As part of their commitment, they offer the Vango Lifetime Guarantee on all of their tents. All Vango products are designed and manufactured to exacting standards and are guaranteed to be suitable for the end purpose intended. As part of our ongoing commitment

we will guarantee for the lifetime of the product, that should this product fail during normal usage as a result of a component, material or manufacturing fault, excluding fair wear and tear (which includes colour fading), then the product will be repaired or replaced at our expense and discretion. This guarantee is only valid when products are used for recreational purposes, which do not include commercial usage, ie hiring, use by outdoor centres, etc.

Repairs to damage caused by accident, improper care, use in inappropriate conditions or normal wear and tear will be carried out where possible at a reasonable charge. Please ensure that all products are clean and dry prior to being returned, as failure to do so may result in the product being returned to you uninspected, which may in turn impact upon any warranty claim.

No consequential loss may be claimed under this guarantee. This guarantee in no way affects your statutory rights. If you think your product is faulty then you should first contact the stockist from whom the product was purchased. They should then consult with us, if necessary, to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.

Technical Fabrics

Some sacs are built for lightweight activities, others for long mountain treks, and the stresses and strains on each are different. It is for this reason that Vango developed such a myriad of different fabrics. Where waterproofness and durability are required they use premium high strength 1000 denier polyester, triple coated with waterproof polyurethane. It is a strong endurance fabric with abrasion resistance and high tear strength. Where weight is of paramount importance they utilise extra fine, extra dense weave polyester fabrics, with high UV resistance and colour fastness.

Hydration Compatible

All of Vangos top performance and activity packs, whether it is a large expedition pack or an all activity daysac are hydration compatible. Vango have added an internal sleeve to take a suitably sized bladder system and 'access hole' to take the drinking tube.

Carrying Systems

A3 - ADVANCED ANATOMICAL ADJUSTMENT
Research and testing programmes combined with innovative and creative thinking alongside real-user feedback over a number of years has been integrated into the design process. The results of this process is an exceptionally comfortable load carrying system.

OFF-SET DOUBLE-LAYER CONSTRUCTION
Two layers of filling separated with two layers of scrim to keep the fill sliding rather than snagging or lumping. Used in Nitestar, Orion and Astral.

1. Based around the unique 'chassis' frame - Bi-Radial, the internal frame is built around modern lightweight and durable fabrics and alloys, composing of:

- Single vertical bar, for longitudinal shape and strength
- Top stabiliser bar, for pack stabilisation and shoulder width
- Mid stabiliser bar, for pack shape and load distribution

2. In addition, the technically advanced load transfer capability is complimented through contoured internal alloy frame bars and vertical Delrin rods, which distribute and transfer the weight/load to the hips.

3. The frame system is coupled to the Bi-Crescent dense foam hip-belt which is ergonomically shaped to cup the hips, and accepts load transfer directly from the Delrin rods. The shape of the hip-belt aids load-distribution, preventing any single pressure points from forming as well as aiding overall balance when carrying the loaded pack.

In combination, this three dimensional adjustable system efficiently transfers load weight from the pack to the base of your spine and into the stable hip area.

QS-5 / QS-4 / QS-3 / QS-2
Contoured internal alloy frame bars are coupled with a webbing ladder arrangement for back length adjustment. Load transfer to the hip-area is achieved via the frame system. The Quick-Step system offers uncomplicated adjustment, comfort and durability.

QS-A
Contoured internal alloy frame bars integrated onto smaller, technical daysacs, efficiently transfers load weight from the pack to the base of your spine and into the stable hip-area. The system is fully adjustable for varying back lengths and offers a simple means of fitting frame sizes to varying back lengths.

Ventilated Systems

AIR VENT
Designed to add comfort through improved back ventilation, this lightweight system has proved to be extremely versatile in testing. Utilising state-of-art plastic technology, the pre-formed frame is suspended via non-absorbent open mesh providing a stable platform for the back with maximum ventilation.

AIR FORCE
Constructed using contoured and raised foam air channels covered with highly breathable Air Mesh resulting in a back system performance for medium capacity packs. The channel that is created via the raised foam generates a 'chimney' effect that enhances ventilation whilst active.

Fabrics

EXCEL 420 DIAMOND TPR
A coated ripstop polyester, combines strength via diamond ripstop weaves, abrasion resistance and soft handle.

EXCEL 400 / 600TPR
A coated ripstop polyester used on more technical packs. Combines strength via ripstop weaves, abrasion resistance and soft handle.

EXCEL 600TP
Textured polyester with a dense weave construction for additional strength. Vibrant colour fastness make this fabric ideal for most smaller pack applications.

EXCEL 1000TP
A heavy-duty, coated polyester fabric, technically appropriate for use on areas that are subject to high wear. Extremely tough and abrasion resistant this fabric is critical to the durable performance of many of our packs. Found predominantly in the base of the packs.
